Born in Dallas...grew up in the Decatur

What is something interesting about your birthplace or hometown?

We have a little saying in Decatur that originated in WWI while a bunch of boys were rolling dice...seems to be recognized all over the US

"Eighter from Decatur, county seat of Wise"

What were some fun times you recall with your parents?

Working cattle, playing music, dinner just about every night when I lived at home.

What are some memorable things about your teenage years?

Sneaking down to the Trinity River Basin to drink a little warm Lone Star with the boys...and trying to get back home without any mud on our trucks.

I’m an only child...if farm animals don't apply. My Mother and Father have been married for 30 years and currently live on a farm in Decatur TX. My mother is the sweetest lady you could ever meet and in my opinion the best cook on earth. My father is my best friend.

Creativity.

Forgoing stability in pursuit of a dream.
